WELCOME TO ADORATE 2024

Join the Society of Catholic Priests (SCP) for Adorate, a collaborative initiative aimed at enriching spiritual practices, expanding theological understanding, and fostering meaningful discussions about the Holy Eucharist. Adorate encompasses a series of sponsored events held during the Octave of Corpus Christi that are open to all.

40 Hours+ Devotion

The 40 Hours+ Devotion is an international prayer vigil during the eight days surrounding the festival of Corpus Christi. During this time, SCP invites participants to sign up for a one-hour slot of prayer in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament from wherever they are. Individuals, churches, or organisations can offer prayers in their own context and way, whether through traditional worship services, private devotions, or other means – either in-person or online.

Signing up is easy – simply visit https://tidycal.com/adoratescp/2024, select your preferred day and time (with options for various time zones), and indicate how, by whom, and where your prayers will be offered.

Registration takes less than a minute, and changes can be made easily through the confirmation email received upon sign-up. You can click on the names of the people who have signed up already below, and see where they will be joining the devotions from.

For assistance with registration or cancellation of a booking, please contact scpadorate@gmail.com.

SCP’s 40 Hours+ Devotion takes place from the eve of Wednesday 29 May through Thursday 6 June 2024. You can find out who have already signed up here:
